Terms of Use

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Teachn.io (“we,” “us” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with all of these Terms of Use, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”) are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

3. User Representations

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that: (1) all registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete; (2) you will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update such registration information as necessary; (3) you have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Terms of Use.

4. Lesson Hours, Payments and Refunds

You buy hours, booking uses them. Buy lesson hours once and book any tutor with them. A 30-minute lesson uses half an hour, a 60-minute lesson one hour (100 credits = 1 hour). Weekly lessons are booked and paid for up front, for the weeks you choose; book more weeks when they end.

Paid hours last 12 months. Hours you buy can be used for 12 months from the day you buy them, oldest first. We remind you 30 and 7 days before any expire, and support can extend them once if something gets in the way.

Free and bonus hours. Your free first lesson is valid for 30 days after you sign up. Referral and goodwill hours last 6 months. Free and bonus hours can't be refunded or exchanged for money.

Refunds. Changed your mind? Get a full refund within 14 days of buying if you haven't used any of the hours. After that, hours you haven't used from a purchase in the last 6 months can be refunded to your card at the price you paid for them, once every 12 months.

Memberships. Cancel any time; your membership runs to the end of the month you paid for, and part-months aren't refunded. Monthly hours roll over up to 2 months' worth while you're a member and stay usable for 30 days after you cancel. Hours you bought at member prices keep their value.

Cancelling and rescheduling lessons. Cancel or move a lesson for free up to 24 hours before it starts. Later than that, or if you miss it, the lesson is used. If your tutor doesn't show, your hours come back automatically. Something wrong with a lesson? Report it within 48 hours.
